Want to do something fun with your baby? Baby massage is a very nice way to spend time with your little one and get to know other moms. You will learn more about your baby’s body language. Baby massage can also help with intestinal cramps, crying babies or poor sleep. so what are you waiting for?

“Baby massage, and just that bit more…”
In a Babymassage course, you will learn to perform a baby massage step by step. Massaging your baby is a fun, relaxing activity for both you and the baby and can be learned by anyone.
Topics such as crying and body language are also covered. Classes can be taken in groups or as a duo class with a friend.
You will be in a group with up to 6 people. In the new large spacious practice we have enough space to responsibly teach the baby massage course.
During the last class (Tummytub session), there is an opportunity for us to take photos of you and your baby in action. This is a nice memento for later and fun finale to the course
Ilse has been teaching the baby massage courses for over 16 years and is friendly, inviting, approachable and has had the pleasure of guiding thousands of mothers. Ilse isn’t called the baby expert by midwives for nothing.

“Baby massage, and just that bit more…”
Ilse specializes in what babies indicate. She is happy to help you get to know your baby just a little better. During the baby massage course, you will be helped with questions such as:
– How do I get my baby to sleep?
– Why is my baby crying?
– How do I prevent burping?
– Why is my baby overstretching?
In addition to baby massage and many practical tips, each meeting also focuses on a theme. Baby massage course and lots more so.
- Lesson 1: Explaining Maxicosi. Practical tips regarding your car seat. That thing can really do more than you think. Let yourself be surprised.
- Lesson 2: lifting and carrying techniques. Reduce burping and farting by 50% and strengthen the muscles of your baby’s neck and back
- Lesson 3 : body language. Did you know that a baby’s little hands can tell you all sorts of things? We explain to you his/her body signals. Always useful to know when your baby gets tired before your baby cries: put your baby to bed on time and he’ll sleep!
- Lesson 4 : Tummytub session. During the lesson, pictures will be taken and lastly the children will go into a tummy tub.
The baby massage group / duo group course
In a Babymassage course, you will learn to perform a baby massage step by step. The group course lasts 4 weeks and each class lasts 1.5 hours.
You are welcome 15 minutes before the start should you wish to feed your child prior to the massage. This way your baby will not be hungry when we start the massage and you will not miss anything from the massage. After the massage, there is an opportunity to feed your baby again during the break. Your baby is then tired. If you can’t get your baby to sleep then Ilse will help you with many helpful tips.
The courses are offered at a beautiful new practice where sufficient distance can be kept from each other. The group size of a Babymassage course is up to 6 people where there is plenty of room for personal attention
You can also choose to take the course with one friend. This is a little more intimate and this course lasts 3 weeks.

Includes
Each course lasts 1.5 hours and includes course booklet, course information related to the topics covered, and coffee and tea with something sweet. (Massage oil can be purchased at babypraktijk Ilse)
TIP: A baby massage courseit may be reimbursed by your health insurance company. Check your policy!

The course is designed for babies aged approximately 4 weeks to 9 months old with one parent/caregiver.
When
The course or workshop is held on a Thursday morning or Friday morning.

The baby massage course is four weeks long, incredibly fun each week. Together with other mothers and still a wonderful one-on-one moment with your baby. Ilse is very kind and sweet and wants the best for everyone. Unfortunately, the course is now over, but Juul and I enjoyed it. Ilse thank you!
